【文化言語学部】英語版 [Department of Culture and Language] Former Professor Judith N. Rabinovitch (Ph.D.) Awarded 2017 Foreign Minister’s Commendation

As previously reported at the beginning of August, former Shokei University professor Judith N. Rabinovitch (Ph.D.) was named as one of the recipients of the Foreign Minister’s Commendation (click here for article).
Last month on November 14, the award ceremony was held at the Montana State Capitol located in Helena, Montana, where Rabinovitch currently resides.
At the ceremony, Consul General Yoichiro Yamada of the Seattle Japanese Consulate General presented Rabinovitch with an award certificate on behalf of Fumio Kishida, who was Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time the award was decided. Kumamoto Prefecture Governor Ikuo Kabashima, who also holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University, was in attendance at the ceremony as well.
In addition, the commemorative photograph taken after the award ceremony has been posted at the website for the Seattle Japanese Consulate General.
